Fresh Turmeric Ginger Pickle
January and February is the season for fresh turmeric. Many a times you can see them in the market, which is being bought for making  turmeric powder. We can store it in the refrigerator and use it whenever turmeric is required in the cooking (like ginger). Fresh turmeric pickle is made in gujarathi recipes. This year I decided to make a few recipes out of this fresh turmeric and first I tried fresh turmeric pickle. That is came out well. Next I tried Fresh turmeric ginger pickle. This also came out very well. My son and hubby liked it so much. Soon I willcome out with more fresh turmeric recipes. As you all know it is needless to say about the goodness of turmeric.

Fresh Turmeric Ginger Pickle Ingredients:
Fresh Turmeric - 100 gms
Ginger - 2 inch
Green chilli - 2
Lemon - 3
Salt - to taste
Fresh Turmeric Ginger Pickle Method:
Wash the turmeric and ginger well in water. Peel the turmeric and ginger and cut in to thin slices.

 Cut  green chilli into thin rounds. Squeeze the lemon and take the juice.

 Add all in a bowl and mix it well.

Serve with any rice.

Note:
Use this pickle immediately.
 It is good for two days outside the refrigerator. You can keep it in the fridge after two days and use it for 4 to 5 days.
Add green chilli and lemon juice according to your taste.
3 lemon is enough for this quantity.
