Semiya Kesari 
I made semiya kesari for tamil new year neivedhayam. But I forgot to post it.  So I’m posting it for navaratri. If you add milk, the taste will be like halwa. You can make it in 20 tminutes.

Semiya Kesari / Vemicelli

Semiya Kesari Ingredients:
Semiya (vermicelli) - 1 cup
Water - 1 cup
Milk         - 1 cup
Sugar - 1  cup
Ghee - 2 tblsp
Cashew - 10
Cardamom powder - ¼ tsp
Kesari colour - pinch
Semiya Kesari Method:
Heat ghee in a pan and add semiya and roast for a few minutes.

Add water and milk to the semiya and cook. Stir often.
Semiya Kesari / Vemicelli

Mix kesari colour in little water and keep aside.Once the semiya is cooked add sugar and kesari colour and stir well.

  Add cardamom powder. Heat ghee in a pan and fry cashews.

Finally add fried cashews.

Note:
Grease the plate with little ghee and press it. Cut it with a knife.
Add sugar according to your taste.
If you want you can add milk.
You can add dry nuts of your taste.
