After my Marriage We were in Madurai. In Madurai we had four cows. At that time my mil used to make butter regularly. On seeing this I also had interest to make butter. Home Made Butter has good flavour. It has good taste how can I forget. Now a days I make butter rarely. Now I buy aavin milk, which has no butter at all. Butter will come only in the fresh cow’s milk. To post this recipe I bought fresh cow’s milk and made butter out of it.
Now let us see how to make
Home Made Butter Ingredients:
Fresh cream collected from 7 days curd.
Home Made Butter Method:
Fresh cream means yellow colour creamy top layer of curd. You will get this layer only in the fresh cow’s milk.
Take the fresh cream collected from curd in a broad bowl. You can add more water and churn for about 15 to 20 minutes.
Churn continuously with the mathu.
At the end you can collect the butter on top of the butter milk. You can see the video at the end.
Note:
Daily collect the top yellow colour Creamy layer of curd and store it in the fridge.
After 7 days you can make butter out of it.
You can make butter in the mixie also. Use whipper blade and whip the curd with enough water.
You can add salt, asafoetida and roasted cumin powder in the buttermilk and serve.
