Fish fry is a very popular fish recipe cooked and served throughout the world. United States is the mother land of Fish fry, where fish meal usually consists of Fish fry, Potato Finger chips, or French fries and Sauce is served during lent days as dinner recipe.
Fish fry is usually prepared with lot of variations according to regional taste and custom. Fish fry is usually a battered fish deep fried in oil or shallow fried in pan.
Fish fry goes well as a starter or as a side dish along with other lunch recipes or dinner recipes. Fish fry is usually prepared with large fishes with less bones. Fish slices make a good choice rather than small whole fishes.

Fish Fry

Fish Fry Ingredients:
VanJaram fish - 400 gms
Chilli powder - 1 ¼ tsp
Turmeric powder - ½ tsp
Pepper powder - ¼ tsp
Garam masala - ¼ tsp
Oil        - 2 tsp
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
Curd        - 2 tsp
Salt         - to taste
Coconut oil - 2 tblsp


Fish Fry Method:
Clean the fish. Add all the ingredients except coconut oil in the mixing bowl and mix it well.

 Then marinate the fish in this mixture and keep it in the fridge for about one hour.

Oil will bind the masalas to the fish.
Fish Fry

After one hour take the fish from the fridge and shallow fry in the non stick pan with coconut oil. Serve hot with rice.
Note:
You can deep fry in the oil also.
You can use coconut oil or any refined oil for deep fry or shallow fry.
You can use lime juice instead of curd.
