Oats Pancake

Everybody knows that Oats is good for health, especially dieting people and the weight conscious people . Mostly rely on oats recipes for their breakfast or dinner.
Oats pancake is one dish which is very useful, easy and suitable for the south Indian taste buds. Oats pancake is so simple that you can make it in just 2 minutes, and that too. If you have ground oats in the shelves it takes just a minute.
Oats pancake is nothing but a batter with oats spread in a pan like dosa.  If you want it more spicy and the more you add spices and turmeric.  It tastes too good Like the masala omelet.  Especially when guests land, you can rely on oats pancake and your guests will be astonished. Now let us see the oats receipe.The ideal accompaniments are coconut chutney or coriander chutney.

Oats Pan Cake Ingredients:
Oat        - 1cup
Oats Pancake
Onion - 1
Tomato - 1
Coriander        -3 tsp
Green chilli - 1
Turmeric powder - ¼ tsp
Red chilli powder - ½ tsp
Garam masala - ½ tsp
Kasoori methi -few
Cumin powder -1/4 tsp
Salt        -to taste
Oil         - required amount
Water - 1 ¼ cup




Oats Pan Cake Method:
Grind the oats coarsely in the mixie.

 Chop onion, tomato, coriander and green chilli finely. Add all the ingredients except oil in a mixing bowl and mix it with a hand mixer.

 Heat dosa tava in the gas stove and grease it with oil and pour the mixture into small pancakes.

 Cook both the sides well with little oil. Serve with any chutney.
Note:
It tastes exactly like masala omelet.
It is good for diabetic patients.
If you want, you can add grated carrot and grated cabbage also.
Ordinary dosa tava is good to make this pancake.
Cook well or else it will be torn.
